The South Louisiana Community College Career Center provides comprehensive guidance through all steps toward building a successful career. Students can receive career counseling, attend professional development workshops, and gain exposure to job opportunities targeted for SLCC students.

Student Employees for External Company
· Individual Career Consulting Sessions. These sessions assist students with career and life planning for transitioning into further education or into the workforce.
· Professional Development Workshops. Students are able to earn extra-credit for attending workshops which prepare them for continuing education or entering the workforce.
· Explore Career Options: Students are able to use unique software that enables them to narrow down career possibilities that are most suited to their interests, abilities, and preferences. Discover™ your potential!
