STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION

The Student Government Association (SGA) of South Louisiana Community College was created to represent all students in matters pertaining to student activities, student participation in College planning, student opinion and student welfare. The membership of the SGA is composed of all regularly enrolled students of SLCC. The executive board is composed of the President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. The officers are elected by the student body and serve for one- year terms. Elections are held during the spring semester each year. All students are encouraged to take an active role in their student government association.

SLCC is currently in the process of adding two new clubs: Criminal Justice and a Sports Club. Interested in starting a club and not sure how to go about it? Information and forms are available. Get involved!
