How to obtain books from another SLCC library:

1. Complete the book request form. This form is available at the circulation desk or click here.

2. Give the completed form to a library staff member OR

   Email to khawkins@southlouisiana.edu OR

   Fax request to 337-262-2102

There is a twenty four hour turnaround time for materials to be sent from Lafayette to New Iberia and vice versa. Intra library loan items are delivered to Franklin as needed.

A library staff member will contact the patron when the book is available for pickup.

Inter Library Loan Policy

SLCC patrons may obtain library materials from any Louisiana academic library. These privileges are governed by the LALINC "Agreement on Shared Library Services for Distance Education" adopted October 24, 1997 and the "Agreement for Reciprocal Borrowing" adopted March 3, 2000. Copies of these agreements are available in the library.

Document Delivery Policy

SLCC library patrons may request full-text journal articles from journals not held by SLCC.
