South Louisiana Community College is seeking

Technical Adjunct Faculty for various locations:

(Lafayette, New Iberia, St. Martinville, Opelousas, Crowley, Ville Platte, Abbeville)

In the following areas:

Diesel Powered Equipment, Welding, Business, Nurse Assistant-High School, Industrial Ag mechanics, Clinical Lab Tech/Clinical Lab Asst, Graphics, Machine Tool Technology, Culinary, Electrician, Drafting & Design, Industrial Electronics, Surveying & Mapping, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Developmental Studies, Computer Electronics, Cosmetology Instructor

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree with at least three (3) years of directly-related occupational experience and skill in the field to be taught, OR an Associate’s degree and four years of occupational experience and skill in the field to be taught OR relevant certificate and five (5) years of experience and skill in the field to be taught and additionally:

Must have relevant current professional certification or licensure in the field to be taught,

Must have appropriate educational qualifications, as determined by the relevant programmatic accreditation agency, to act in the required positional role.

Completion of education – Teaching and Learning in the Community College within two years of the first hire date.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Academic Faculty positions require a minimum of a master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
