
South Louisiana Community College offers EMT-Basic
and EMT-Paramedic certification courses through The National EMS Academy, an
educational partnership with Acadian Ambulance Service. These courses earn
college credit toward SLCC’s Associate of Applied Science degree in
Emergency Medical Technology-Paramedic and meet all of the requirements for
certification by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
