Narrative:

South Louisiana Community College (SLCC) first opened in the Summer of 1998 at the New Iberia Campus. In the Fall of 1998, 156 students registered for classes. Enrollment for succeeding fall semesters is presented below. SLCC fall-to-fall enrollment has increased every year since the founding of the college. Fall 2010 enrollment was 4,196. SLCC reports data to the Louisiana Board of Regents (BoR) and to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). (1)
